Longing…

     What is your heart longing for? Have you noticed that many, many people nowadays do NOT have a longing for God?? Huh…what happened to all of the hungry people? Hungry for God. Hungry for His presence. Hungry for His word. We just don’t see that as much nowadays. Many have forgotten God, but I want to tell you that God is still God! Here are some passages from scripture to remind us that He is STILL strong, a protector, always with us, and is in control:

But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you (2 Thessalonians 3:3).

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6 NIV).

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand (Isaiah 41:10 NIV).

What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us? (Romans 8:31).
